DESCRIPTION

Via the remote inputs the M AH pumps can be integrated into main control circuits or proportionally coupled to remote command signals. The stroke length adjustment can be utilized as additional ratio setter.

The front panel contains all controls and LED display elements:

• • Master switch with LED display “operation”
  • Selector switch “Remote/Internal”
  • Desired value potentiometer for the stroke frequency produced internally
  • LED display of pump stroke.

The control is available either for instrument panels, in desktop design or as 19″ rack system.

Control of solenoid operated pumps with control OLK comprises the following technical possibilities:

• Standard power supply 230 VAC or 24 VDC (for emergency operation)
• Power output for the solenoid pump -200 VDC at 230 VAC power supply or 24 VDC at 24 VDC power supply
• Two pulse inputs which can be added
• Input pulses can be divided or multiplied in the range of 1 to 100
• Simple balancing of the 0/4-20 mA analog signal from the converter, the pump’s stroke duration and the generator’s processing frequency. During balancing, the corresponding values are shown in the display
• The signal ” common alarm” is issued via a voltage free relay contact
• External reset input

Design

The new MBH Solenoid metering pump has protection class EEx em II T4,IP 54 enclosure ,is hermetically tight and meters fluids precisely up to 2.8 l/h at 17 bar bar maximum.

The new solenoid pump is available in two performance ratings, 2.8 l/h at 17 & 2.4 l/h at 25 bar The hydraulically operated metal diagram assures pressure firm pump characteristics and long operating life. By simple design and minimum of moving parts the MBH hardly requires maintenance and is offered at a very competitive price.

• • New design and new controls

All wetted parts including the diaphragm are made of 1.4571 (316 Ti) resulting in a high chemical resistance to most fluids conveyed. The hydraulic section received an optimal adaptation to the performance data. The drive solenoid can be switched on 100%, also it can be operated with 110/220 V, 50/60 Hz and 24 VDC. It is controlled by the all new OLK 7 control for easy and precise operation of the solenoid metering pump.

• • Enclosure IP 54, EEx em II T4 protection

The IP 54 enclosure and EEx em II T4 protection of the MBH assures trouble free operation in critical and hazardous areas.

• • Wide, precise adjustment range

The solenoid drive controls the metering precisely in a wide adjustment range from O to 5 mm. The continuous stroke length adjustment and the precise setting of the stroke frequency allow exact setting of the flowrate with precision metering and excellent reproducibility.

The MBH solenoid metering pump is hermetically tight and can be employed in a variety of different industries without being tied to one specific sector. Application areas, among others, are chemical process technologies, micro-metering duties in laboratories and pilot plants and gas odorization.
